USM and its institutions, the State of Maryland, the Federal Government, and other sources provide financial aid and scholarships that help reduce the total cost for qualifying students and their families.
- You may qualify for financial aid in the form of grants, scholarships, or loans, based on your family's financial need or ability to pay.
- You may qualify for one or more merit scholarships that will give you money toward college based on your academic performance in high school.
- You may qualify for work-study. This lets you earn money to help pay for college by working on campus.
